Terms and Conditions 


Hello and welcome to our terms and conditions page. It’s really important that you read and understand what we’ve written as it sets out what you can expect from us and vice versa.


BY ENTERING OUR SITE YOU ARE ACCEPTING THESE T&Cs 

THEY ALSO APPLY IF YOU BOOK ONE OF OUR CLASSES


One other thing we need to say is that we do change these T&Cs from time to time and so you must always visit this page to see what changes we’ve made – we’ll assume that you have each time you contact us.



AGREEMENT 

These terms and conditions are meant to form the basis of the relationship between us and both you and we agree to be bound by what they say.


CANCELLATION

You are buying Services from us as a consumer and the following provisions apply.


You agree that, for the purposes of the agreement between us and for the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 we may confirm the terms of this agreement and the goods and services it is providing to you by email.


RIGHT TO CANCEL  


You may have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days of making the booking without giving any reason.

As long as it is more than 14 days until the class date. If the booking is made with less than 14 days until the class date no refunds can be given. 


The 14-day period will start:

on the date you book and pay for the class.  


If you change your mind then you must tell us within 14 days of making your booking. If it is more than 14 days since the booking was made no refund will be given.  We will refund the price you paid for the Class. You must contact us beforehand in writing or by email and you must include the following information  



Todays date    Your full name  Details of class booked 



 In some circumstance it may be possible to transfer your place to another class providing you give us enough reasonable notice at least 14 days before the class date  AND we are able to fill your space on the course. *

If you are unable to attend you can send somebody else in your place. 


*this is at the discretion of the workshop and is providing there are spaces available on other suitable classes within 4 months of the original booking and we can fill your original place. 


If you do not turn up to the class no refund or alternative place can be given. 


In the unlikely event that due to unforeseen circumstances or a lack of numbers  Classes may be need to cancelled or amended by the workshop  we will inform you as soon as possible and offer a refund or place on an alternative class.  If you choose to attend on alternative date the same booking terms and conditions will apply. 


Under 16's must be accompanied by a paying adult participant. 


Vouchers 

If buying a voucher for a specific class please make sure the person you are buying it for is able to attend on that date as vouchers for a specific class cannot always be transferred. If you are not sure  you can buy vouchers for an amount of your choosing and then the recipient can book a class of their choice. 

Vouchers will be sent via royal mail signed for and we aim to post within 3 working days of recieveing  the order.

THE CLASS

Whilst most of the processes we undertake during a Class are totally safe, some do involve elements of danger and you agree to follow all safety instructions we give at all times during the Class.


THE PRODUCT

You understand and agree that:

  • the product you will be making will, by its very nature, show signs of it having been handmade and will not have the same finish as if it had been made in a factory;
  • whilst we will help you to achieve a product which will be a permanent reminder of your Class and the processes we use comply with all proper standards, we can never guarantee that what you make will stand the test of time;
  • if you attend a Wedding Ring Class and the product you make does fail (but not as a result of wear and tear or accidental damage) within 12 months of the Class, let us know and we will correct any defect free of charge. If you post it to us, make sure that you send it by recorded delivery and make sure that it is fully insured. We will return it the same way. This guarantee does not extend to products made in our jewellery and silversmith Classes where the products which are made are not intended to be perfect nor to have any specific life.



INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Either we or our affiliates own all of the information and intellectual property on the Site.


You don’t have the right to copy or use any of that information or intellectual property other than to use the Site, unless we give that right to you.


We own the intellectual property in any handouts, brochures and other material we provide you with during the Class and you can use it only for the purposes of the Class. You do not have the right to copy it or use it for any other purpose unless we have agreed in writing that you may.
